That town is right up the road from me. Very, very wealthy old money little town on the Atlantic coast. There are some spectacular old mansions there.

Yes it was slow in the beginning until he goes for his late night beer run

That's an easy call--yes. The movie was well made but pretty depressing. No spoilers as to the reasons why.

Saw it this evening with my wife and our son. I knew the movie would be difficult to sit through, but I looked at my watch a few times to see how much longer the film was going to last. Talk about bleak. Casey Affleck was quite good. Some of the photography is great.
