The Hard Rock in Tampa is presenting a winner take all lottery with an entry cost of $250 and entrants limited to 200, making the winner take all prize $50,000.

The drawing in three weeks will be in the grand ballroom where all entrants will recieve free drinks and a free buffet, plus live entertainment...........thus making my decision to buy an entry an easier one.

Believe I may have been the first one to enter, as I have ticket #0001..............


Hope someone else here decides to enter, perhaps then we can do a saver or something.

Taxes are not a problem either, as I report all my winnings AND losses on a yearly basis..........and one week into the new year, I have lots of losses accumulated already.

There are some still around........in fact, a few boats here in Florida have them, even in $1 denomination. Also, they have a some other various bonus machines that are +EV.

Any casino has an average per head loss rate. 250 + friends is about 500 X about 40 a head. Casino gets 20K. The poker room gave away seats in our Saturday tourney, 25 a day if you had quads, (with promo $$ from the jackpot). Had 366 players for a $100 shootout last week... THE LIVE ACTION WAS OFF THE HOOK that day as a result... ie the rake was way up that day.

I read about this a while back at work with full details as I work there. GL fish, hope I can attend the victory party. I still do not know the full logic behind the drawing and will get back here with more input.
