Hello Gents,

Some of you have met me over the last year or so and are familiar with my Cuba travel. I've been working out the logistical kinks over time and would like to offer products and services to some of you that indulge in this enjoyable pastime.

To start things off, any box of market cigars will be $250 to local customers. Market being defined as anything readily available for purchase in a Havana shop. Limited Editions are available, but at varying degrees of difficulty and pricing.

U.S. Delivery is also available, at a slightly higher price.

My next trip to Havana will be Friday. Please let me know if you have any requests.

mike@havanaconnections.net

The website will be up soon. Please be patient.

I'd be happy to take you with me this weekend...

The cigars you mentioned are both the most popular cigars on the market, and the most counterfeited. A stroll through any tourist enclave in San Jose will probably put you in the path of a guy holding one or more of these boxes.

These days, the only way to be sure is to go to Havana and get them yourself. Which is what I do.

I lived in Cuba several years ago to learn Spanish and developed ties to the island and have returned as often as possible. The cigars facilitate this by offsetting the expense involved in frequent travel to Havana.

I love turning people on to Cuba, so I'm serious about that offer. But don't be surprised if you find yourself "muling" back a few boxes for me in exchange for my guide services...<><>

my company can provide shipping options for you.. Send me a PM..

I've been either flying them into the states myself, or using Correo de CR. I've lost a couple of boxes that way via US customs. So We may be able to work something out...

Was in Havana a month ago. What a great town.

Havana is a great town. It's a little better town after October. The heat in Cuba is brutal right now...

Before you asked about them, I'd never heard of them. Please understand that I started smoking cigars when I lived in Cuba, and haven't migrated outside of the occasional gift cigar. My reference point outside of Cuban cigars is pretty limited.

Forgive me, I also made the mistake of assuming we all live in CR. If you really want them, I'll work something out to ship them to you...

i picked up some supposedly cuban Punch's from the smoke shop up the street from the casino along the brick paved market area in san jose...they were the best cigars ive ever smoked. beats me if they were legit but as a regular cigar smoker they were very good. i figured id try the punch's since the cohibas are the most common counterfeit...i know some of the in's and out's for cohibas and they were ALOT of fakes in san jose.

So which cigars are available for $250. I have smoked a few Cohibas and Montecristo's while down here. (I hope they weren't fake but I wouldn't know as I am no aficionado) I wouldn't mind picking up a box though from you.
