Race 4 4yr old Valhalla river draws inside and there is not much speed here in this maiden tilt. top jock perez up and looks like he wont be in a speed dual here like his last race as he still hung on for 2nd after fast fractions, if he is left alone he should be gone turning home.

Race 5 we have a first time starter #2 Judicial Recount he is out of same sire as the horse above valhalla river which is tribunal who has descent numbers with winners first time out, mare has thrown 5winnners from 9 foals he has had a steady worktab and is fit i have mixed feelings here, jockey keveh nichols is up who won for us last weekend, if u like longshots here is one for you, my trainer is starting to heat up wouldnt be surprised if he ran good here in bottom claimers but could also run out of the money

Both local handicappers aggree valhalla river will be tough!!!!

Race # 4

1st - # 2 Valhalla River 2nd - # 8 Rocky Engagement 3rd - # 10 Gala Bourne

COMMENTARY : The # 2 VALHALLA RIVER ran very well in his '09 debut and was unlucky to lose and if he repeats that race this evening he won't get beat. The # 8 ROCKY ENGAGEMENT was entered a couple of weeks ago but was scratched signaling that the connections have had some troubles in getting him to the races; he was an expensive yearling purchase ($800,000) that has failed to live up to expectations but at this level he must be given strong consideration. I don't think the # 10 GALA BOURNE missed bumping anyone (he got most of them anyways which led to a disqualification) in his debut as he was weaving through the field in his debut; he'll get a more experienced pilot at the helm this time but still must be on his best behaviour

Any of his races put him right in the thick of it and the barn he comes out of is starting to heat up. GALA BOURNE ran very greenly in his debut and it's hard to say just how many horses he interfered with. He did show a lot of run, however, and he figures to take a big step forward in his second start. He gets a key rider change with Alvarado taking the call and it wouldn't be surprising to see him get involved a lot earlier. ROCKY ENGAGEMENT will take a lot of action based on the fact that he is dropping into a lower level maiden race after tackling pretty tough company in maiden special weight races at the major tracks in New York and Florida. His sharp work on May 29 is also encouraging, and the Condilenios barn is firing on all cylinders. Some concerns about a horse taking this big of a drop, but we wouldn't be shocked if he romped.[/SIZE]</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
