Ugh. This will suck in a major way. I implore casual boxing fans not to watch that crap.

It's this Wednesday, btw.

Tough fight to bet.Toney is a ball of fat and he's shot, and Rahman is the most unpredictable heavy ever. Gun to my head, Rahman.

Rahman boxed bunch of no names after that loss to Maskaev , Toney is like 100 years old but went to decision against Peter in 2007 .

Agreed, this fight is HARD to cap.

IMO, all depends on Toney & his weight. He's come in really heavy in recent fights but if he's had a good camp he can be deadly. We won't really know until the last second when he takes his robe off in the ring - cant trust any news out of his camp EVER!

Having said that, I have a hard time believing that "Lights Out" got up & had a great camp for a fight on Weds night. It's a fight purely for the paycheck (that actually applies to both fighters).

I LOVE boxing, but even I have to stay off this. If I had to choose something on the board, I'd take the distance prop. The only thing these two yuk-yuks can knock-out right now is the local Hometown Buffet. :missingte

They'll carry each other the distance with a lot of tying each other up and go to 12. But that's only if I HAD to choose something.

Alright, looking at it a bit more closely, Rahman seems to be very good value at the current odds.

Toney was nearly shutout by Peter during their rematch. He gave what I thought was a great performance in their first fight, but I think this will have been the last good moment of his career. He barely managed a split decision against a tomato can about 14 months ago. By now, he's pretty much 100% shot.

And Rahman is more skilled and a more accurate puncher than Peter. He also looks a whole lot better than Toney these days:

I will be in on it for the action..They will probably waltz the distance..but then each guy has the thunder to knock the other out if he comes in shape...So..Who the hell knows..Like someone said this creams paycheck..

This in reality is like betting on a coin flip..-D

Make no mistake, Rahman is NEVER a lock to win anything and he's way past his prime too.

I just threw a unit on him at -135. I won't put any more unless the line moves towards Toney (which would be quite surprising.)

It has sucked for at least 5 years... ever since Lennow Lewis retired. The lil' guys have taken over since. Even a midget like the 105-pound Ivan Calderon is 10x more entertaining to watch than the current crop of heavies.

Line is moving towards Toney since the weigh-in, which is retarded. Toney came in lighter than usual but he's just as soft, if not softer than before. Probably lost muscle mass.

And Rahman does not look as lean as he did on the above photo.

Will stay put on my Rahman bet, but I now wish I had passed on it.

DAMN! Toney looks soft! I gotta believe that this is one of his last fights, if not the last one. He obviously can't put together good camps any more.

Still, nothing is solid in this fight. Yes, Toney looked bad against Peter, but Rahman is no Peter. If Toney keeps his wind, it still might go the distance. But, again, that's only if I HAD to choose something.
