im wondering if he has a problem with his system, and awards teams that win 2 games in a series bet... if this is the case, then i would bet both sides of every 4 game set and hope for a 2-2 split

You may want to look at the details of that prop bet. Typically, Series bets are for ONLY the first 3 games of the series. If its a 4 game series, the bet is still only for the first 3.
