Many of the old phone numbers don't work anymore (Steve Turner's clan),

does anyone use the scorephone for information anymore?

you are correct Journey, 10 years ago I'd be on scorephone every 2 minutes. Haven't used them in over 5 years. Theres a computer everywhere today so getting scores is very easy.

900...976-13-13.....Good Lord, that llittle ditty used to be drilled in my head everytime I watched a sporting event way back when. They used to really stress the number as being for the hardcore sports fan who just had to have minute-by-minute updates on his team. Why didn't they just come out and say, "for the serious gambler......"

Imagine someone calling a 900 # for scoring updates in this day and age.

1-866-free-866 is awsome! They update the scores every 10 mins without fail. You ought to try it.

Does it ever, ESPN didnt even exist. That was some good old days. The Cubs played all day games at home and back then a dollar was a dollar, every bet was important back in those days for me. Tony I miss them old days. I burned the telephone up calling NY.
