he is proabably making 2 mil a year. i'm sure his next deal there will put him as the highest paid coach. nfl seems to max out at 5 mil a year.

so for another 2 million a year or so i would say no thanks nfl . i know they talk about needing a challenge , but dominating college football would seem challenge enough.

coach usc for another 10 or 15 years and call it a career .

one can only imagine what the perks are with that job..

Because the NFL is the king of all sports. College football is a joke compared to the competition in the NFL.

The NFL is king and everyone in football knows it. If you do something in college, that's great and all...but unless you did the same in the pros it really doesn't mean anything.

Carroll has stated frequently that he'd go back to the NFL under the right circumstances because he loves the NFL more than anything else.
