It may be a little early for most, but not here in the South, we talk football all year long.
I just heard him (Steele) on our local talk radio as a guest. I called in and spoke with him. He says that TN will be 3rd in the SEC East behind GA and FLA and that LSU will win the West and SEC Championship. These are 2 first time SEC coaches( Miles and Meyer) ahead of the winningest coach in the country, Phil Fulmer ????? He says talent and schedule over coaching. Can't say that I disagree, but our talent is as good as any (maybe not USC).
Sporting News has the Vols ranked #2 pre-season. We are usually overated pre-season. I feel we are a top 10 team, maybe 7th or 8th right now. I don't know if anyone will have anything for USC this year. Maybe Cal can pull off an upset this year.
Is this yearly publication a good handicapping tool for college football or is it just tout literature? I am interested in it, but it is $8 or $9
Any other pre season college football guides that yall can reccomend over the others
