hey iceman,

no, no horror stories. but i'm still paranoid about using it...or, i should say, getting charged for it (i only use instacash at books that pay for all the fees)

i still read and re-read and all the fine print at each book's website to make sure i don't get charged anything when i use it.

but so far, i've never had any problems with it...

Never had a problem. No need to pay the 8.9% if you use a cashier at a book that charges no fees. Two that come to mind are WSEX and CRIS. Zero fee!

I use it al the time when I have a bet that I just have to have. Some books pay the freight and some don't. but if I need to get a bet down, and I'm absolutely sure of the result, I pay the price. But Firepay is a lot cheaper. 3.9%I think!

Olympic charges a 5% regular Neteller deposit if you withdraw your winnings and redposit back in less than 48 hours.

I wrote an email asking about why I was being charge for 5% regular Neteller deposit when they had never charge me before.

Olympic said it's in the 48 hrs withdraw/redposit rule. I didn't see any on their website. I just assume it's there or I missed it.

is this true?

Transfer charges will not be picked up on incoming deposits if a withdrawal has been made within the previous 48 hours. (If an account is shown to be making excessive deposits and withdrawals over short periods of time, reimbursement of transfer charges for the account will be discontinued) from olympics site

I know of a guy who bounced a 10,000 instacash and told Neteller to go to hell, not really a horror story for him, but for Neteller...

I know a guy here in Houston that had $7500 instacash deposits bounce from Netteller and he told them the same thing...go screw themselves...he changed his bank account number and they would call every once in a while and send emails to him, but he just ignored it. Dont know what effect it had on his credit record, but he still has a checking account and credit cards

Exactly...they talk tough, but have no recourse in this situation, except to not allow you to use their services anymore...Not something he set out to do, just sort of happend.
