I thought I put all my NHL bets in today...turns out, I only put in my 3 of my 4 puckline bets and 0 of the moneyline bets. And it figures, of the 3 ML plays I had 2 were winners...and of the 4 PL's I had today, of course I only sent in the 3 that lose or are losing (BOS, WSH, CHI) and forgot to put in the 4th which is currently winning (NJD).

Just sucks...when I pull up the account thinking I'm going to see a relatively flat balance and sure 'nuff, negatives all around. All I have to say is....MOTHERF'CKER!!

It was just deflating. We're not talking HUGE bucks, but it would've been nice to offset the puckline losses.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda....probably a sign of the money I will be giving away to the US Gov't and throwing out the window once our President Elect Obama is sworn in to the Office of the President of the United States tomorrow.

Funny thing was, I was off from work all day today (as it is a Federal Holiday in the US today for MLK Day), so I had all the time in the world, from when I woke at 6:20am 'til the drop of the puck to put 'em in.

I think I'm better off trying to jam it in at 5am before I normally get ready for work.

i do the same. its also easy to click on the wrong bet. ive done that before. I remember once, i though i had bet the over in a Washington game. It was 6 goals, im sitting there watching the game, game stands at 6 with a min to go. the whole time im sitting there rooting for the empty net netter. games ends in a push i got back look at the history to see i really bet the under!!!!

It means I should slow down, take my time and focus on what I am doing.

Since we're having a baby in April, I don't want to THINK I put the baby in the car seat only to look to the back of the car a few blocks from home.....oops, forgot little Miss Artie at home....Child Protective Services would not be as understanding.

Speaking of slowing down, reminds me of one of my all-time favorite TV scenes, specifically around the 4 minute mark:

jdigae--sorry, just rather not say. It is not one of the bigger, well known sites. all i know is that when it is time for me to pay the book, he gets paid.

Actually, the lines it offers suck. They never have any alternative lines in NHL, only ML/PL/OU/GS and only post 'em after the LV morning lines are up. MLB lines suck as well, same issues.

exactly, no team totals for hockey. no regulation only lines (0.5), only -1.5. My guy is based in the county in between us.

Been there. I've accidentally bet on the wrong team, only to cheer for the side I *think* I've bet on and when they win, go online to find out I actually lost the play. Hurts.

Or how about getting in a last-second arb, and accidentally taking the wrong side? That's fun too.

Just got up to take some meds and a sneek a little peek here at the rx and thats when i read your comments and it just CLICKED. i can't recall you posting any 0.5 lines. Thats tough mate. hockey is hard to hit and many games you will have to pass b/c of the high juice withouit this option its extremly hard as if its not hard enough to win. I would look into that if I were you. Sorry if I sound hostile saying this i really don't mean too I'm just having trouble putting my thoughts into words.

Anyhow good night and good lick tomorrow

I can top your sad ass tale

Was working a tight list of four jobs today and suddenly remembered at about 1140am that I had not booked my four preferences for daytime NHL/NBA

Drove 20 minutes home, thus effectively burning an hour of production time (At least $30)....Booked the four into a pair of $20 2Teamers and promptly went 1-3 to lose both.
