I like him. He started off hot in the NFL but massively cooled off to almost an even record and then said he likes to stop at this point of the season in the NFL. He said NFL is not his best game and he likes NBA the best.
Not making fun of him for doing that but I always thought it was a little weird. If you feel you are +EV in sportsbetting, I'm not sure why you'd take yourself out of the game because of short term results just because you have a "feeling" that you tend to "run bad" in this part of the season. I don't believe in that stuff, either you're a winner or you're not, and if you're a winner you should keep betting.
Or at least that's the way I took what he said. He never listed a reason (from what I read) for why he likes to only bet the first half of the season. To me the first half of the season is an even bigger crap shoot because teams are really still meshing and figuring each other out + roster/coaching changes etc.
With all that said, I liked listening to him on games that I was on the fence about, I'd usually lean his way (and win) until he started really picking some crazy underdogs (aka tampa bay) that just seemed pointless to me betting for without a solid reason.
