Dickie Smothers played Harry Reid in Casino. Reid was chairman of the Gaming Control Board when Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal was denied his license. I wonder if he was really comped showgirls. His mother was a maid in a brothel. Don't know if they were legal yet.
