Didn't Mr. Hat get ticked off from a poster and said he may post next season. It is too bad because I really enjoyed his posts.

Not sure that he got mad he just said he'll be back next season. I'm just guessing but I don't think he wagers on the Super Bowl. In any case I'll wait to see what comes of this.

Harry has spot on in playoffs.
Don't pay attention to 909, Harry. Those bring no valuable info beside sarcasm.

I will reply on ~NYG4lifeNYK~Thread!! I said in my previous post that I will not have a thread super bowl on Rx. I reached my goal in making 3 1/2 times my bankroll and bit more. I had great year and great run with my record moving in the home stretch crossing the finishing line speaks for it self. Super bowl is fun time for me hanging out friends and fellow gamblers & handicappers. Cocktails & Dinner watching the big game. Just having fun betting on the prop bets and small wager on super bowl. Like I said before I bet on teams through out year with great success trying to get to the super bowl. This game will not make difference of my bankroll because I reached my goal. “Quitting while you’re ahead is not the same as quitting.”

Ps. You can bet that I will make proposition bets on a safety ever quarter. Also looking at total yards Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. Just some prop bets and maybe more at game time//LOL !!!

Haha quitting while you're ahead generally separates winners from losers, called discipline. Thanks for the reply Harry. Good luck with your bets, enjoy the game and be well :toast:

I feel the same way; my bet is just a fraction of my playoff profits. Not even tapping into regular season profits. I will place a handful of tiny bets (1/5th of a unit or so) of some props, but not enough to move the needle on profits. Once I got a good profit I played more conservative.

When I was younger I would make the SB my largest bet of the year... but that was a rookie mistake.

The important part of placing sports wagers is your return on investment, also known as ROI. A sports bettor’s return on a investment is a calculation based on his winning percentage and the amount of money invested overall. In my opinion you should work out ROI[return on investment]based on how many games you wager on and how much bet per game. Like with any business understanding the return on your sports betting investment is key to maintaining a profit. Bankroll management[ I use Bob Martins money management system that works for me year after year]. Its called a press concept to learn, but a difficult one to keep in practice. All gamblers have a tendency to want to take a big risk in search of a big payoff, but sticking to a fairly rigid set of rules about your bankroll can keep you from blowing your budget based on a hunch or an emotional wager. Figuring out why you’re betting on NFL, whether it’s just for fun or as a way to make a living, is a big part of managing your bankroll. Quitting while you’re ahead is not the same as quitting.
