DNoonan said:In the bahamas there is a casino / sportsbook (not the Atlantis) where the sportsbook basically did not move off the opening number when I was there in college hoops. I did quite well prior to getting loaded the last night and giving it all back on the BJ tables.
Go get 'em!

That book was in big financial trouble !! Stay away if playing serius money!DNoonan said:I think so, but not sure. Will ask the fiance' when she gets home. Pretty small book off the casino. You step down into it and it has the feel of a small stadium style theatre.
I would go to the business center and print off the live lines, look at pinny's line for each game and then get down...could have paid for my vacation+ if I didn't get so loaded and hit the tables so hard that one night...no free drinks either. Good times though.

My lady surprised me with a trip to the bahamas last year and a surprise party in Vegas for my 30th this year...arranged to have 15 bros from all over show up at a cabana she had rented by the pool and totally caught me offguard. Some guys I hadn't seen in 5+ years.
That's why she is now my fiance.
Have fun.
Mr Teaser said:Damn DNoonan same thing happened to me at The Wyndham in Cable Beach. The Gtech/UConn Final. Money line at the Wyndham was UCONN -200. I pounded it hard. Went and checked all the offshore odds. Most were at -280. The Wyndham kept it at -210. I kept pounding. It was a good day.
