The problem with not profiling is you waste your efforts on people that are a very low risk and you ignore the obvious risks. I am not saying that you dont search everyone but there needs to be common sense.

Would you search a quadriplegic too? How about a 70-year-old with cerebral palsy?

Everybody means everybody man. It's the state of affairs we live in. It's not just Arab terrorists we have to worry about it's white terrorists, it's mentally ill people and of course as I mentioned, there's always the chance that somebody placed something on an unsuspecting old lady especially if she has a wheelchair where something can easily be fitted in.

There's nothing wrong with this old lady being searched. It's the state of the world we live in. That's just how it's gonna be.

Of course profiling makes sense, just ask Israel. They live in the most dangerous area, and have zero issues at the airports.

Our airport security is cosmetic, it's an illusion.

I would hire Israelis to retrain Homeland security.

Our biggest obstacle to overcome is that victimhood mentality. People don't know how to keep things in perspective. They always think somebody is being wronged, and only the fucking idiots want to see as many 90byear old grandmothers screened as 20 year old middle eastern men

Only morons don't understand and see that people of all races especially whites are shooting up America in terrorist attacks, are we waiting for them to bomb a plane before you open your ignorant eyes?

What about the concept of somebody placing a device in the old lady's wheelchair or replacing a part of the wheelchair with an explosive hidden. All sorts of possibilities. The fact that you want to let your guard down because an old white lady got searched shows once again you have an agenda. You don't care about America or it's safety you just want to push your little agenda. It's not going to work with intelligent people.

Everybody gets searched. That's just how it's going to be. Especially after all the school shootings and and Vegas, we know that skin color doesn't matter. Why wait till those shooters graduate to airports?

As far as your Israel argument is concerned. You're compared the Middle Eastern region to America. Of course they profile Middle Eastern men. They should. Look at their region and what's going on there. The fact that you compare that situation to America makes me shake my head. There's no point arguing with you. It's like debating with children because more Caucasian men have shot up America in terrorist attacks than Middle Eastern men and that's just straight facts. You just want to wait until they graduate to planes or airports.

Search the Arab guy, search the middle aged white guy, search the 96 year old white lady. There's going to be delays anyways. I'd rather have them all searched instead of one day a white guy blowing up a plane or shooting up an airport. It only takes 1 attack.

After all the school shootings and Vegas and 911 it's clear that whites, blacks, middle easterns, blue, orange, green, whatever, it doesn't matter. They are all threats.

People are talking about ghosts and going all the way to the middle east and other irrelevant and silly arguments but nobody answered me about what happens when it's a white man who's been radicalized or just mentally ill? Or if that lady in the wheelchair as elderly as she is had a device planted or even disguised as part of her wheelchair and it totally oblivious to it?

Sack up. Stop worrying about the old lady, it's not as if they are probing granny with batons. Grow up. It needs to be done.

Does anyone know if you are able to take medical marijuana in your carry on bag onto the plane,...also in vegas they always have their k-9 dogs walking around the scanning gate,so can they detect this stuff

they have bins at the airport for you to throw it out before you get into the Airport.

So don't try it

that would be arriving as opposed to departing my friend :)

that would be an issue for Columbia or Mexico, if they wanted to stop it

[h=1]Seniors Caught Pushing Pills Are The ‘New Face Of Drug Dealing’; Experts Say[/h]

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — With prescription drug abuse reaching epidemic proportions, police say there’s a new face of drug dealing; the elderly.
As CBS2’s Hazel Sanchez found out, senior pill pushers are increasingly getting caught selling their own stash.

“This girl came to me and said that, ‘I hear you got some pills,” Laura Viehdeffer said.
So 85-year-old Viehdeffer said she gave her a couple.
“I felt sorry for her,” she said.
The girl was actually an undercover police officer in upstate New York. The pills — which she bought for $10 a piece — were the powerful opioid hydrocodone which Viehdeffer took for arthritis pain.
“I was just trying to help somebody out,” she said.
The authorities didn’t quite see it that way, and now Viehdeffer is the oldest person in her county ever charged with drug dealing.
“If someone is selling drugs, narcotics, to someone else without a prescription, that is in fact illegal,” Steve Chassman said.
Increasingly, experts say the ‘someone selling’ is a senior citizen.
“It’s not uncommon to see people 55 and older, who receive monthly medications, selling some on the street or to people they know,” Chassman said.
Chassmanis with the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence.

“A 30 milligram of oxycodon can go for $30 and if you get a 90 day supply, do the math. That’s significant,” he said.
Especially significant to someone living on a fixed income.
Their mugshots tell the tale; 81-year-old Arthur Cox was busted for selling $1,000 wort of his painkiller dilaudid.
Tina Robin White, 59, was pinched for selling her oxycodone and 91-year-old Archie Bethea was busted for peddling a variety of his prescriptions on the street.
“Our medicine cabinet is something we have to worry about,” Angelo Valente.
Each week at community centers the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey is showing up to teach seniors about the dangers of opioid addiction.
Executive Director Angelo Valente is hopeful there will be less of a demand for these drugs now that states like New Jersey are limiting a patient’s initial prescription to a five day supply — down from 30, as well as requiring all doctors to explain the risks of dependency.
“It makes common sense,” Valente said.
Viehdeffer said her case is a big misunderstanding.
“I’m not a drug dealer,” she said.
Still, a judge sentenced her to five years’ probation.
Experts said tougher sentences could curtail seniors from selling their prescriptions, but local and federal prosecutors are sometimes reluctant to even charge them because of their age

Do you have reading problems? I said how many whites have shot up America. And why wait till they blow up an airport.

As for your silly comment about 90 year old grandmothers, why would we wait for the first one? Also, I didn't say the 90 year old would necessarily bomb the airport or plane but she'd be so senile that she wouldn't notice an addition or replacement to her wheelchair or her person.

Do you understand now billy? Excuse me willy.

Your lack of reading and comprehension skills proves yet again that you either have a major agenda or not very bright. I'm guessing you had weak education at a bad college. Either that or you are genetically inferior with a smaller intellect. I don't care which.

It's like talking to children. No point. Good bye. Keep learning you're never too old. It's embarrassing for me, somebody probably almost half your age, having to explain things to you.

It's Saturday night. Time to hit the club. Later.
