Harangody is very, very good. Rebounds, can score inside, and has a great shot even if it is ugly. Plays hard too.
And yes, I took Notre Dame... I still think they will win.. I'm just talking about him in general, nothing about the bet because I still think they'll cover against an overrated Marquette team. but the fact of the matter is I've watched many notre dame games this year and he's be very good in a few, and horrific in more... sometimes he tries to rely on the fade away wayyy too much. I think there are much better player of the year candidates than him.
agreed. I would never pick a player off of SCs team to be a player of the year candidate, although I do believe that Downey is one of the best point guards in the nation. I think Harangody can be great at times, but he can be really bad too... he's very inconsistent so I get tired of hearing all of the love for him.. I never really thought of the rebounds point of view which is obviously a plus, i was thinking of his shooting in general.. it can be good and it can be really bad... I just don't think he's elite enough to be considered a POY candidate.
To say McAlarney is better then Gody is ridiculous.
Mac has the best shot in the nation IMO but basketball player wise that is all he can do. Gody can rebound, score inside, score outside, he can also play some defense.
