I give it 6.5/10. The plot is exactly like the first one, but there are definitely laughs. It was entertaining but not nearly as good as the first. Still a solid movie. I went with 3 other people and 3 of us liked it, while one said she only laughed twice and didn't think it was that good. On a side note, we showed up late and had to sit in the front row. My neck hurts.

Saw it last night and this is pretty much the same thought as I had.

Funnier than that awful Bridesmaids.

Was really good I thought. If you liked the first one you will like this one, simple as that.

Loved the first one, thought the second one was extremely average and not nearly as funny. It all felt extremely forced.

Wow...I hated this movie. I laughed exactly zero times. I could count on one hand the number of times I mustered up a chuckle. Even some of the worst comedies I've ever seen had a few good laughs...not this one. In fact, it had some very dark moments that seemed very out of place for a comedy.

Worst movie I've seen that I didn't walk out on. The only thing that kept my interest was the fact that they were in Bangkok.

Every person involved with this movie should be ashamed of themselves.

The three lead actors can afford to be ashamed of themselves for being paid $5 million a piece for their roles in Hangover 2. For the original Hangover, none of them was paid more than $300,000. The Director, Todd Phillips got a tidy $10 million for Hangover 2.
Mike Tyson got a nice bump from $100,000 to $200,000 for Hangover 2.

Sequels are almost never as good as the original...in fact they usually suck. Can anyone think of a sequel that was better than the original?

I thought it was extremely funny. Yes, same jokes and same ridiculous, sometimes predictable, circumstances. But isnt that what this series is all about. If you were not expecting that then don't bother you won't like it. But if you like the first I really don't understand how you didn't think this was as funny.

I was laughing to tears at some parts and the theatre I was in gave it a standing ovation when it ended so I wasn't alone.

As I said, I liked the first one quite a bit because of the freshness of it. I knew going into this one that it was going to be more of the same and I was okay with it if the jokes were AS good. They weren't.

I lost it during ONLY ONE part involving Stu. I just didn't think the jokes were strong this time out. The monkey parts weren't funny and was extremely cliche, the "thighland" joke was funny the first time Allen said it, not the 2-30. Phil didn't really have any redeeming qualities in this one like the first and was really just a huge asshole. The physical comedy was stale and while I enjoyed the car chase, I thought it it too was pretty stale. Motorcycle chasing vehicle through city streets? How many times have we seen that?

Phil was far whinier this time around and just annoyed the piss out of me and Allen was just plain dumb. It was fine for him to be dumb in the first because he redeemed himself at the casino. This time around? Nothing.

I saw Bridesmaids and thought it was WAY better than Hangover 2, actually thought Bridesmaids was great and so did my wife and the other couple that went with us.

I had low expectations however and figured it was a chick flick. Highly recommend it

I had high expextations from listening to too many people say it was the female version of The Hangover. Funny spots, but Wiig's character was a mess that just got depressing. Itr's good that you guys were entertained. That's what it's all about.
