Ah man some nasty things at work/school today limited me. I didnt wanna rush into any plays so I didnt take any early games.

First place I like today.

Wisc+1.5 @ Northwestern

This team cant free fall anymore. The Badgers hope to solve their shooting woes against Northwestern, the last team they defeated. They’ve lost five straight since. They have battled against the best teams in the Big Ten. They just have not been able to make big shoots, or really many shots at any time.

I will just get straight to the point here why I am playing this game. Northwestern is the worst rebounding team in the big ten by far. Averaging 28 RPG. While they allow over 43RPG in conference this year. They are middle of the pack in FG%. Wisconsin needs to start shooting the ball better and what better way to solve that than by going inside and getting easy baskets on put backs.

Wisconsin out rebounded them 27 to 41 last game in a 74-45 blowout.


Bo Ryan will get this team back together, I am sure of it. They get back on track today!

Washington @ ASU

One more game of rebounding. Washington is the best rebounding team in the PAC10 at 44 RPG. 8 more than second place.Washington will roll out Brockman, Gant, Bryan-Amaning all over 6'7" and very strong inside. it will be a tough matchup for ASU and their matchup zone to rebound effectively against one of the best rebounding teams in the nation.

Thamas and Dentman will have to hit a few outside jumpers early to extend that zone to allow the inside game to dominate. If that happens washington covers.

The Huskies and Sun Devils split their series last season, with each team losing on its home floor. This will be ASU's toughtest test at home this year so far.

Richmond @ Temple

Temple is 2nd in the A-10 in Opp FG%,3rd in Ft%, while Richmond is second to last. Temple's Christmas can shoot and drive. However he hasnt been getting much help. He scored 27 at RI while his team scored 32. They were without 6'9" Craig Williams who is a good player of their bench. Temple needs to recover after a bad loss wednesday.Coming homeis the perfect way.

Richmond is last in the A-10 in RPG but does hold its own on the defensive glass. They do have very good size down low that Temple can counter with a 7'0" and 6'9" forward.

I think temple scores too many points in this game and wins by 15 with a second half run.

Temple has solid wins this year at home, pounding Tennessee, battled clemson and is 2-0 in conference with wins of 27 and 25. Richmond is 2-0 on the road in conference but against the bottom teams.

one thing i like is that Cal can score, third in the Pac-10 in scoring while USC ranks toward the bottom, which is a reason I dont think USC runs away and hides in this game.

It will be a battle of the leagues best FG% team (cal) against the leagues best FG% defence in USC. USC is no good at the line, second worst in conference.

I like Cals balanced attack. Yes Randle is their main scorer but they have 4 players in double figures. They have size on the inside, having a guy at 7'0" and two at 6'8". They can bang down low. This can hopefully limit USC on the boards because this will be their advantage.

Cal can shoot the 3, second in % and first in 3PTM and USC is last in 3ptFG%. Hopefully cal can shoot and spread the ball around against USCs tough defence. I think they can and will rebound and keep it close.

I was with you on Washington as i am on Cal. USC has to be worn out playing all 5 starters almost the entire 40 minutes Thursday night. I think they will come out flat
