I never pay attention to players comments but I do when coaches/managers have something to say.
"His arm has been great [this year]," Braves manager Bobby Cox said.

That's good enough for me.

Hampton hasn't even started in the minors for rehab...3 years is unbelievable and yet here he is starting today for the Braves. Not wanting to even tempt the possibility of a jinx, the Braves hadn't informed Hampton as of late Friday afternoon of the start.

This is really just a hunch play for me and I am not betting much.

Hampton will get blitzed today in philly. He has to be perfect for this to even be close. Hamels is a solid pitcher, and hampton throwing in a hitters park. This game could have OVER written all over it.

Let's face it , the phils bullpen has come back to earth.

You could be right but I've seen stranger things. We'll see.

Tough day for 1st outing. Davidson BHP, record indicates that he has a small strike zone.

LMAO, what do you expect him to say?

It's Mike Hampton, we should all expect the best. C'mon this guy is a joke. He does have the best job in the world though.

I would say take ATL 1st 5 innings, because that ATL bully is filled with gas cans.

In baseball, it does not matter who is pitching, there is no such thing as a bad bet on an underdog.

Its plus money that's why. If that is the case then bet every favorite everyday.
