The big story in this one is the weather as this field is soaked and it has already accounted for several fumbles in the first half. Miami's defense has really stepped up in the first half but the trend should be to take the home team thinking this game will not be a blowout. Rix has not looked good at all and has thrown two interceptions one for a score and he almost threw a third interception. The defnse has him confused and Miami is doing a better job of coaching. Payton looks very comfortable in the backfield and is taking advantage of the playing time.

2-1 on the early games as A&M cruised to my easiets victory so far....
Taking:
Florida +6
Not going to look for the home team to come back here, and this play fits nicely into a system for me. Take an underdog in the second half if the favorite team just has to win the game to cover the second half line. Leak looks great and LSU's offense is having trouble moving the ball.

I am going the other way on the Penn State game. Purdue dominated Penn State offense in the first half. Look for more of the same in the 2nd half. Purdue -6
Examiner : I love the concept of +4.5 in the 2nd half of a game but when you talk about "mustering" a FG and the other team scoring twice, keep in mind that there were 59 points scored in the first half. Nevertheless, I'll grab the 4.5 as I almost always do. Good luck on your Penn St. play as well.

The major reason I got on this is mainly because it did not look like Colorado was up to stopping anyone in this game. Already at 6-3 in the third this one is long from over, but will keep my fingers crossed.

best of luck with Purdue...I stuck with Penn ST because of the momentum they had and I liked the numbers on the ground, not outstanding but solid in my eyes.

Should have followed suit with the rest that jumped on Purdue as Penn St looked horrible in the second half. My second half plays evened out to 3-3 (0-1 with parlay) but I am keeping a close eye on ND/Pitt. Quinn has minus yards passing and ND down could be in trouble. The system still hit with Florida and another one could be setting up in this one.
