3rd road game in 4 nights for the Sharks and off that hard fought game in Columbus the night before. They were gassed and you could see it. The Wings had been waiting for them after their tough loss to the Avs since Monday. Will be a much better match up when they meet again both well rested. Even the first meeting in SJ the Wings were also playing their 3rd roadie in 4.

Let's call it what it was. It was ass whooping.

Nabokov set the tone letting in the first two goals which were as soft as you will ever see. San Jose could never rally and pick him up. I turned it off near the the first period and went on to watch far better hockey games. It was a shame this game didn't fill all the expectations. Maybe next time.
