Unfortunately New Orleans -4 fails to cover as the Jags overcame a late 23-3 deficit with 2 late converted TD's, including a 2 point conversion on the 2nd TD. There were many opportunities during the game via live betting for Saints -4 backers to buy some insurance for a free shot, go for the middle, or guarantee a profit no matter what the outcome. For they led by 2 converted TD's early and by almost 3 converted TD's late.

Live betting isn't for everyone. I'm just saying if one wished to avoid the disastrous & extremely unlikely & unlucky back door cover that occurred, as i am inclined to do in such situations, especially when making large bets, for pennies on the dollar buying insurance may be a possibility. That way there is no "loss" no matter what happens.
Alternately there's the option to go for a middle shot, e.g. live bets on Jags +11, +14, etc, as i saw. This method won't lead to "more loss", but it might lead to more winnings if the middle hits. Or less winnings if it doesn't. Depending on how much is wagered on either side.
