Steelers and The Patriots

This is some research I will use with my analysis. Will be doing lot more research with power ratings and The DVAXN Group 25 NFL Football Outsiders ratings from Cleveland OH ,before I post my picks and bets on a thread. New England with Tom Brady and Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger are two of the most top ranked QB’s in NFL history. Steelers held on for an 18-16 road win in Kansas City. Roethlisberger had 224 yards and zero TD’s against very good defense. From my analysis on stats that Pittsburgh scored an average of 24.9 PPG in the regular season to rank the team 11th overall. New England played against best defense in the NFL Texans last weekend. The Patriots pulled away for a 34-16 win. New England was third overall on offense with an average of 27.6 PPG, it was there defense which was the difference maker this year, finishing with among the top defenses allowing 15.6 PPG . Looking at edge here Rx members & personal friends, The Steelers had a tough time against the Chiefs on the road, but have to face one of the top defenses in the league like said allowing 15.6 PPG. RB Le’Veon Bell had 170 rushing yards. Pittsburgh defensively in the win over the Chiefs, holding them to just 227 total yards but the offense struggled scoring. The difference was last big play in the 4 quarter and first down that won this game for them. My bottom line is, expecting more of a close match-up where field position is a big part in the final score. This line is just a little high for now in my opinion, I am considering the under in this match-up and money line with NE laying about 2 1/2 to 1. Will be doing lot more research with analysis, so its just lean and something to think about guys. Just sharing some information with you.

Patriots arent facing Osweiler this week. Texans are in -4 TO ratio while Pittsburgh is +6. Granted NE is +14, I think it will be a good game. Good luck Harry

Packers’ top receivers in doubt for title game [Adams to join Nelson on sideline questionable]

From the Wire services>>> ''Packers’ top receivers in doubt for title game Ankle injury may force Adams to join Nelson on sideline.Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said wide receiver Davante Adams may not practice until Saturday because of an ankle injury, the latest question for a receiving group that also is likely to be without Jordy Nelson for the NFC championship game. Adams got hurt in the 34-31 win last weekend over the Cowboys. The third-year wideout had a breakout regular season with 75 catches for 997 yards and 12 touchdowns. McCarthy said Adams would focus on rehab during practice, as would Nelson. Nelson missed the Cowboys game with injured ribs. Nelson led the NFL this season with 14 touchdown catches. He was quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ top target with 97 catches for 1,257 yards". Line might just change moving toward game time from +4 1/2 to ?

McCarthy indicated today (Thursday) that Nelson, Adams and Allison all will be limited--if they play. "In the regular-season mindset, I would think none of them would play in this game. But obviously this is a different time, this is a different point where we are in the season. Everybody understands what’s on the line here."--per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Jeff Janis, who made a significant contribution in last year's Cardinals playoff game but is not a precise route runner, and Trevor Davis likely will join Randall Cobb and Ty Montgomery as the main outside receivers. I don't think there is any way Nelson plays with two broken ribs that have had just two weeks to heal. Adams probably will be affected by the ankle sprain. Allison and Davis are a wash. Everyone is saying the Falcons defense has improved. I'll have to see it to believe it. Still think the Packers have the mentality that they can go into Atlanta and win. Falcons have the pressure on them playing at home and with all the Green Bay injuries.

My opinion this match-up is suddenly gonna becoming a defensive showdown. These are tough numbers 25th in defense for Atlanta... 28 passing defense....25 points per game Green Bay... 21 stand points per game. Defensive yards Atlanta 382.8 yards to Green Bay 353.2.... Defensive rushing yards Atlanta 112.2 to Green Bay 92.3 >>>> Defensive points +1 Atlanta
