In 1972, George W. Bush dropped out of his National Guard service and later lied about it. With the media finally paying attention, will he now come clean?

Why was he granted an honorable discharge? If a person was AWOL, there would at least be an official record of it, and it would likely lead to a dishonorable discharge. This incident has been fully investigated in PAINFUL detail by the Boston Globe over TWO years ago, and they reached the conclusion that there is ZERO evidence to suggest Bush was officially AWOL.

You're right of course, I really SHOULD know how these people think by now. But to be honest, it really scares the sh*t out of me that people could be that completely devoid of objectivity. There was DNA evidence which proved Bill Clinton committed perjury under oath in a court of law and THIS was not enough proof for them of guilt, but they can call Bush a deserter based on the word of ONE NATIONAL GUARD OFFICER who said, "I don't remember seeing Bush that year." That's their proof!!!

I am 18 months younger than Bush and at the time this photo was taken, myself and hundreds of thousands of other young Americans were fighting for our country in South East Asia. What makes the vailiant GWB except from such peril? You guessed it, his daddy was a congressman. Why should I have anything but contempt for a coward?

It has become quite obvious to me that you never served in Vietnam and I seriously doubt you were ever in the military (except perhaps in your own mind). No combat verteran would run around an internet forum trumpeting his supposed heroics the way you do. I know many Vietnam combat verteran and there is one thing similar about all of them. They all don't like to talk about Vietnam and almost never do so. Quite the opposite of you. So I find it MUCH more likely that you are some angry wannabe who is masquerading as a verteran in a very feeble attempt to bolster your pathetic political views.

Don't bother trying to prove it one way or another as the internet is loaded with information that could make you sound more authentic. And clearly you have nothing better to do that scour the web for such info.
