Hoping to bring the NFL HI/LOW Contest back to the RX where it started many years ago...its been a constant contest for 6 years now, hope to do it again..
For those that dont know, its a very simply format contest, where u pay 170.00 to get in....10.00/week for the NFL season...
Everyone is drawn a random team....you have the same team all year...
Betjam usually tosses in 180.00/week, plus 100.00/week Bonus Play...
Each week, the team that scores the most points gets 250.00 the team that scores the fewest points gets 250.00
Each week the (29) pool gains 100.00 in Bonus Play money and builds until a team lands right on (29) for their final score....and they collect the pot, and it starts over...
You can win as many times as your team hits......
And the only question I ever hear people raise, is "what if i draw a bad team"...really, before the season starts, there is no such thing...cuz you win for high and low....and like last year, i drew New Eng, thought i finally had a great team, Brady goes down week 1, i think i did collect (1) share of 1 week.......
But each year, at least 20 of the teams will cash once as a rule, and thats enough to win you money..
Anyway, if you would be interested, or probably play, please let me know...once i know we have 32, i'll talk to Scotty again....however, i doubt there is any issue, as this contest has become a yearly tradition.....
Its alot of fun......and when i ran it here at RX the first 3 years, it sold out fast every year......
