Instead of paying the 7.50 & up at the theater, you can get tickets to almost any theater for about $3 per ticket.

Go to Ebay
Type in Fandango Movie or Fandango Movie Tickets

In the search results you will see some sellers with these images:

There are probably a few more.

Some you can bid on, some you can buy instantly.

The average price going for each ticket is about $3 for winning bid or buying instantly.

Once you purchase, the seller will send you a code.
As you notice some have 2 tickets, 4 tickets, 10 tickets, etc.
Each code they send you will be for each ticket, up to $13.50.

Go to Fandango.com.
Just sign up, only takes a second & then you have your account.

Follow the steps they give you in the item you purchase, which are very simple.

You search & find your theater on Fandango
Go to the date you are going to movies
Click on the time of movie you want
Click 1 ticket (and do it again next time for the other code or codes)
click on that little box that says fandango bucks, or promotional code
Click Apply
Submit or finish, and you're done I believe.

A little box will pop up, giving you an online ticket you can print out, or just write the numbers down so when you go to theater you get your ticket.

I've been doing this a few weeks now & they are all legit.

Not sure how they do it but I suppose it's guys that work inside Fandango, with theaters, or just computer geeks who somehow crack the codes.

Anywho, it will save you quite a bit!

I forgot fester you're the one usually posting stuff like this!

:toast:

This works like a charm though

Yup, got 6 tickets for $15.

Another related thing I like to do, is any time I need to buy something at
any big name store (Home Depot, Dillards, Target, Amazon, Fry's... ) is
go to Ebay and bid on gift cards which usually sell at 85-90% of face
value. It's instant cash savings.

So you already tried the Movie tickets/Fandango thing?

Codes worked perfectly hugh?

Are those gift cards selling regularly on there, and you did say & mean 85% OF, not OFF right?

Have you purchased any & used at stores?
No problems?

I did do the fandango thing, and codes worked as far as activating the codes - I haven't booked the tickets yet.

yes, earlier I meant 85%-90% *of* face value not off face value...

seems like those gift cards are always on ebay, but even more so this time of the year, because people get them as
xmas gifts, and don't want them

How do you get the physical tickets to take to the theatre, and is there a monthly fee to use this service or just pay for the tickets and that is it?

Thanks

You Pick them up at the Theatre.....they have machines, and you punch in a Confirmation, and it prints out the tickets.

There shouldn't be any fees ?? ( unless we are talking about something else )

Yes, I believe you need Paypal. Because it's a Code that the Seller is going to send you ( by way of Email )
So, I would think..that the seller wants to do this ASAP

I believe most of them require immediant payment, by Paypal or CC.

Just follow the steps I made in post #1.

There is no monthly fee.

Just create a quick account at Fandango.com.

When you purchase the codes, they will email to you and/or your ebay messages.

Once you make the purchase with the codes a ticket confirmation/animated ticket will pop up.

Just print it out or write down the confirmation number.

Like BetAll said there are machines inside or just give it to customer service desk, and you get your tickets.

Also want to mention that on most bids or purchases the tickets are comine out on an average of 2.50 each, less than $3.

Definitely beats the prices at the windows!
