If the engagement ring is worth 10,000...then you should have it insured. Did you give the pawn shop the papers on the ring too?

Even if you make an insurance claim, I would tell your wife what you did and why you did it. Somewhere down the road this will come back to haunt you if you don't, and it may come back ten times worse on you.

if this story is fake or not fake, no matter, might just be a wake up call for some ppl...i am sure Mendez is not in this boat alone (assuming the story is true)...some sick gambler is days away from doing something similar!!! Gambling is sick shit, especially when doing it with someone elses money or betting with a local...maybe some of us have never hocked anything but i am sure some of us have felt that sickening feeling of losinga bet we can't pay...you need to go tany and all legnths to make sure this feeling never happens again...the good news is, if you never gamble again, you don't have to feel this way again!!
