Exactly. Big controversy going on right now with the organization. This guy is a flag boy and there was a previous accident on the track. Without the track being "safe" and the pace car on the track, he decides to go on the track to check on the pilots. Apparently this happens all the time at this track, these idiots that work there simply walk on the track without proper safety measures. No yellow or red flags were out either to indicate to other drivers that there was a accident, 3 different incidents in that same accident.

I've been going to races here in Costa Rica for a few years now but I think people are this stupid all over the World. The difference is that if you have good organizers with a decent budget, their work minimizes chances of this kind of incidents happening by hiring good people and giving them the proper training, and controling the fans to keep them safe.
I started going to Rally Car races and I saw the most unbelievable things. People standing on a fast curve where if the pilot loses control there's no question they'll get hit. Kids playing 5 feet from the street without their parents watching them. People crossing the street when the cars could show up any second.
