Thanks Barman. :toast:

You did a good deed even though you seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum on this one. :toast:

Coach, I can't think of any disagreement I have with the Second Amendment.

I'm pretty okey dokey with Americans owning however many guns they wish.

I also understand that at this point in U.S. history, any suggestion that the "government can take away our guns" is perhaps the most absurd and paranoid belief in the whirl of social discussion.

Right behind the theory that having guns will enable you to defend yourself from the tyranny of the gov't

Try it and they will blow you to Kindgom Come

Reread the thread please. The argument is that the government will confiscate our guns, which has nothing to do with what you said.

If guns were available in Iran...I can guarantee you the Revolution would be nearer or past it's tipping point by now...they damn near did it with the power of Twitter and some martyrs.

Having guns wouldn't help you defend against the tyranny of gov't?

Baloney it wouldn't.

Ok. My appologies Barman.

I just seem to remember a thread a while back where you argued against any reason to own a gun yourself.

But I realize that has nothing to do with other's right or choice to own one...

Fair enough.

Perhaps you may have read something I wrote regarding my honest belief that I have no personal reason to own firearms at this time in my life.

You - however - are welcome to have as many as you wish.

Just let me know if you're going to stock up. I may want to buy some stock in the company that sells to you.
