This is what the wrong side of history looks like

For the first time since Pew began asking the question two decades ago, a majority of Americans now say that gun rights are more important than gun control — a striking shift in public opinion over both the last generation and just the last few years.
...
What's most striking in Pew's new data is that views have shifted more in favor of gun rights since then among nearly every demographic group, including women, blacks, city-dwellers, parents, college graduates, millennials and independents.

And of course:

[h=1]Dems push to revive failed gun control legislation[/h]
Gun control advocates in Congress are looking to revive failed legislation strengthening background check regulations.

^ These people are not reacting well to the midterm election losses.

Know why they feel that way?

Because there are still enough Americans out there who can see the tyranny we are flirting with. An armed populace is the last line of defense against that very tyranny, even if our resident idiots can't grasp that...

when you have the epitome of an idiot advocating your cause, when you have the least prepared man in the room making your arguments, when you have the least accomplished president in the history of mankind backing your cause, when you have the worst president ever speaking for you, YOU'RE FUCKED

the man is disrespected in every corner of the civilized world save for the leeches of society, so when he takes a position everyone just assumes he's wrong again and supports the opposition

PS: just axe the democrats about that phenomenon

Yep. Note: the number of African-Americans who viewed firearms as offering more personal safety nearly doubled to 54 percent.

What I find funny about the idiotic leftists is they simultaneously believe that police are corrupt racists shooting on sight and only the police should have guns.

Coming from the State that was the very last State in the Country to allow CCW laws for its citizens, I can tell you I feel very safe now as I was one of the 1st one to sign up for classes ( the strictest in the nation BTW) and I am so happy I did it, as are the 1000,s of CCW carriers now, and people who took the classes with me.
There were 21 people in the class..7 White Males, 7 AA Males, and 6 Hispanic males and 1 Hispanic Female.
We all had great classroom time (16 hours, the longest in the country) and all had to qualify. We all did.
Long story short, it is a great feeling to be able to protect myself and my family now as I never have had this ability to do so like this, and I echo all that were in the class from all over Chiraq and 'Burbs.

Awesome

PAproGunSign-600x337.jpg

CONOY TOWNSHIP, Pa. A Lancaster County township is putting up a different kind of sign – one telling everyone that the township is NOT a gun free zone.

Township officials said the signs are meant to deter crime. Police in the township aren't taking a position on the signs themselves, but say they're for anything that deters crime.

The latest Pew survey on the issue: For the first time, more Americans say that protecting gun rights is more important than controlling gun ownership, 52% to 46%.

Freedom marches on:

AUSTIN – The state House on Monday gave final approval to legislation that would legalize the open carrying of handguns in Texas.
House Bill 910 by Rep. Larry Phillips, R-Sherman, would allow those with recognized concealed carry licenses to openly carry their handguns in a shoulder or hip holster. It already is legal in Texas to openly carry rifles or shotguns without any license.

Everything, every single thing, the left has said about guns and gun control in the last 40 years has been spectacularly false.

I'm just glad there's gun control here at Rx. Otherwise with all the body armor that would be required to post I'd need to turn the thermostat down to 60.

“Since Sandy Hook there has been a school shooting, on average, every week. How on earth can we live with ourselves if we do nothing?”

These people are just losers through & through:

A federal judge has ordered that the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence pay the legal fees of an online ammunition dealer it sued for the Aurora movie theater shooting.
The order, which was issued last week, comes after Judge Richard P. Matsch dismissed the gun control group's suit that sought to hold Lucky Gunner legally responsible for the 2012 shooting. The Brady Center had argued in their suit that the way Lucky Gunner sells ammunition is "unreasonably dangerous and create a public nuisance."
"A crazed, homicidal killer should not be able to amass a military arsenal, without showing his face or answering a single question, with the simple click of a mouse," Brady Center's Legal Action Project Director Jonathan Lowy said at the time. "If businesses choose to sell military-grade equipment online, they must screen purchasers to prevent arming people like James Holmes."
Judge Matsch disagreed with the Brady Center's argument. He said the suit was filed for propaganda purposes. "It is apparent that this case was filed to pursue the political purposes of the Brady Center and, given the failure to present any cognizable legal claim, bringing these defendants into the Colorado court where the prosecution of James Holmes was proceeding appears to be more of an opportunity to propagandize the public and stigmatize the defendants than to obtain a court order," he said in his order.
