I know a lot of people follow Northcoast. Saturday will be his 5* September Game of the Month. Since the line always changes drastically after it is released, I try to figure out one or two games that I think it will be and than look for a possible middle if there is enough line movement.

I am thinking it will be either:

North Carolina State -6- or Tennessee +3-

Both of which are near key numbers. Any thoughts...

I would also keep an eye on LSU. He mentions in his write-up that this could be it. Not sure if that is a hint or not...

Is northcoast really that good? In his article it said they are like 12-0 last 5* releases....is this true?

They have been very good on top plays over the years. I don't know about 12-0 but it is not too far from that.

Drunk...LSU would be my third pick for the game. Good choice. We shall see.

Anybody think it can be Northern Illinois + the points against Alabama?

Why guess and risk putting yourself on the wrong side, there are 45 games this weekend in college foots, its aamazing you would even try to guess.

What's wrong with trying to guess? I'm not gonna wager it until it is released. Just having some fun.

I haven't tracked them. I do know that he has a lot of different plays...powersweep, late phones, "executive club, etc, etc. Pretty much guarantees that one of his "subsets" will be doing well at any given time.

Chips, it is in good fun but I will play the games I mentioned above today sometime. Even if they are not the play I believe they are the right side of the game and I will probably get a middle chance over a key number.

I have been getting their newsletter for almost a decade. I have found that it is not as difficult as one would might think when looking at 45 games. You get a feel for how they handicap. I have narrowed in down two on a several occassions and been correct. However, last year (and this year) I think they are trying to more cryptic about it.

Hey Mosi,

Where is the Turtle kraal near your location? I have an old one a few blocks from me at the Key West harbor.

By the way, you should hit LSU big, whether Northcoast has it tabbed as a 5* or not....Tigers win big tomorrow.

Zona State is his underdog POW. Think he will use it as a 5*. We'll have to wait and see.

Dan,

YEP, he's 100%. There was WAY too much speculation about that ankle. Hell, he didn't even have crutches after the game, just some wrap and hot cold treatment for two days. He practiced all weak and didn't even wear a red jersey.....business as usual. Actually, I expect one of the other receivers to have a HUGE day. You KNOW Georgia will double Clayton and leave man coverage on Henderson.....MISTAKE! He's MUCH faster than Clayton and has excellent running skills after the catch. Jimbo Fisher LOVES to convert High School running backs into wide receivers, just for this very reason. We'll roll tomorrow!

i think ASU or Pitt. Most likely Pitt. Pitt is my favorite game as well. Phil and I think alike, that is why I am getting my ass handed to me this season too
