Can't ask for a much better situation for his first start back (other than the Nats) than facing Atlanta's depleted lineup. Embarrassing the lineup the Braves trotted out there on Tues. The mighty Greg Norton batting 4th. Brutal.

Braves will smack him around and Cards will be shutting down Carp for the year very soon as they plan for next....unless he is superhuman you cant come back from ligament replacement in 12 months.
