My point is that it really makes me laugh that someone who has yet to step foot in the real world, compete for jobs with minorities, pay taxes, hold down and feed a family, get up for work everyday and deal with real world issues is so informed and opinionated on who would be the "right" choice (Obama) to lead our nation.

I remember when I was 20, 22, 24...I didnt know shit. Thought I did, but was actually clueless. Now, I was very smart in school, much smarter than I am now (as I try to help my 5th grader with homework) but I knew NOTHING....NOTHING about how things really operate.

I did not pay a 40% tax rate yet.

I had not been the victim of affirmative action yet.

I had not supported people on welfare yet.

I did not pay for someone elses food stamps, while they drank, drugged and smoked all they want.

I did not get up at 6am everyday to go to work.

I had not changed a diaper or supported a child, wife or family.

I did not pay for a vehicle, nor had I been in a wreck with someone with no insurance...and then have my insurance company sued because I did.

So many life lessons that tend to form your opinions that he has not done, just seen in a book or heard from a liberal teacher.

Maybe you just need to work on your reading comprehension..

Let me explain it: For example:

exaggeration

that all welfare did not pay for someone elses food stamps, while they drank, drugged and smoked all they want.

This is an exaggeration- it is saying that all people who are on welfare drank drugged and smoked.. this is an exaggeration..

You are sure going to love affirmative action in the work place.

I used to work with "Laqueesha" who showed up to work between 45 minutes and 2.5 hours late every day. I'd say on average 1.5 hours. Then on top of it all, she would leave an hour early too, and wouldn't do shit while she was there. It just boggled my freaking mind.

I was passed over for my last job for an AA employee named Anthony. I then got hired on with the same company in a different position with the same company.

In 3 short years, I won 4 awards, two trips, stock options, huge bonuses and the respect from my company and peers.

Anthony? He was caught forging federal documents. He was also suspected of stealing, gambling during work hours (in a casino), and was ultimately fired.

The guy who hired Anthony became my boss a few months before I left that company for greener pastures and told me on more than one occasion that he was "very sorry" for not hiring me the first time around, but was under pressure from corporate to even out the employee color scale.

These are the wonderful things you have to look forward to GTC.

I may even tell two other stories about Affirmative Action and myself and an old friend of mine that didnt get accepted into the University of Michigans Pre-Med program with a 3.6 gradepoint at a prep school.

I used to work for an AA employee too. It is pretty sad when you think about it.

He had 4 kids and he was going through a tough divorce... He would talk on the phone at bare MIN 4 hours per day, and some days 6 hours per day, and I believe one day it was probably 7 out of 8 hours.

He would complain to me she was robbing him, and complaining about debt and credit cards... but then he ran out and bought a 30K SUV?

He was a big " don't ask don't tell" kinda thing in the company.
