Not when I knew him. He actually worked for my company when he was part of the student athlete 89er summer jobs program back in the 80's. He was one of the most obnoxious kids that I've ever ran into. Caused nothing but trouble, and didn't show up for work half the time. Of course it wasn't long after that when he hired an agent and re-did his image into The Boz and started driving around in a white corvette. And I'll never deny I'd have a drink with him anytime, a good guy if you got to know him.

This documentary will be interesting. It was made by the same director who made "Pony Excess." Which wasn't exactly flattering to SMU. I don't know how long you knew Bosworth, but take my word for it, he was a jerk. He comes from a wealthy family, so he pretty much got everything he wanted. He did do a DVD with Barry Switzer and some of the Sooners former players in a town hall type get together that had some great stories told of those times. Bosworth was one who broke down in tears and asked to be forgiven for the way he acted back in those days. But I don't know if all of that was fake or real. He is an actor. At least that's what I've been told...LOLYeah, but I drove a black ragtop, and he loved it, took him for a drive one night. After you and he (figuratively) got over the "Boz" hype, he could be down to earth. Lost touch with him after I moved to Tulsa from the City, so it's been kind of weird seeing him on some commercial here in Charlotte, and then this "30 for 30" ESPN show, LOL. As I posted out last week or so, my first run in with him saved me the price of a stupid bitch, lol.

Did you know Marcus Dupree , that's by far my favorite 30/30..This documentary will be interesting. It was made by the same director who made "Pony Excess." Which wasn't exactly flattering to SMU. Littler Joe Washington could run circles around Pruitt. I got to meet Little Joe in Vegas many years ago in Vegas. He was sitting alone at a poker table at the Riviera and I walked up and struck up a conversation. Really super nice guy. And very smart. He was a 4 point student throughout his playing days at OU.I'll one up ya here.....Greg Pruitt.

I thought it was pretty funny when Pitt came to Norman back when they had Tony Dorsett. Everybody always used to pronounce his last name as Dorsit. And Dorsett wanted to be called Dor (set). So when he came to town Greg Pruitt said he wanted to now go by the name of Greg Pru (et). I always thought that was kind of hilarious. But that was the way Pruitt was. He was always a great media interview. Kind of like the Boz was.Yeah, liked Washington a lot as well. But unlike you, I never met him. I DID however, meet Greg at an event, probably the biggest reason I became a Sooner fan, that and the fact my best friend in middle school was from Soonerland and we watched games together. I seriously doubt Joe could run circles around Pruitt though, the only reason I brought him up is the thread was leaning towards "wasted" potential, and Pruitt, as much as any RB in the country, falls under that title. Anyway, always nice to go back in time, lol, especially when you're getting older.

All I remember is when an overrated Pitt came to town, OU safety Scott Hill laid a flying through the air hit on Dorsett that had him seeing double for weeks. He never came back in the game after that hit.
