i agree but its all hypocritical when obama and company (with dubya starting the trend) are handing out billions to banks and big business every day putting us the utility paying taxpayer at risk...

had no family alive. had no kids and his wife died years ago. people are saying they should've looked in on him. but i mean he's a 93 year old living by himself, who wants supervision and a nursing home attitude put upon someone who apparently was managing to live life on his own without help.

Too bad "the pledge" video wasn't out sooner. Maybe his neighbors would have pledged to keep an eye on the old guy. Guess we should blame the actors for not getting the video done sooner.

the guy had the money sitting on the table while he was wrapped up in 3 layer's of clothes and had like 3 blankets around him also. this story is just 45 min n of my home and has been all over the news and radio. sad story.

my grandmother lived on a meager income and still had money to lend her degenerate grandsons when they got into a bind. sad story, if i had lived next door to the guy and knew he had no family helping out i would have checked up on him. unless he was one of those cantakerous and unpleasant sorts. come to think of it, those are the fun ones.
