Reds, ChiSox agree on Griffey trade, await approval

Griffey will decide Thursday morning whether he will accept the trade, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. It is not known what the Reds would receive in return.
Griffey is hitting .246 with 14 home runs and 50 RBIs this season. He hit his 600th career home run on June 9 and now sits sixth on the all-time list with 609 for his career.
