I agree with you about preseason. But this is the Hall Of Fame game. Dick is very egotistical, the results of hall of fame games are displayed for many years. He gives a shit about this game.

Vermiel was 4-0 ATS LY in Exhibitions, Sherman was 3-1 ATS. Vermiel has stated in KC press he doesn't much care about winning this game, just wants team to play well. Believe me, he doesn't care about if this exhibition score is posted for years to come. He has an ego, all successful coaches do, but these teams play in regular season, so I don't expect either team to show much.
