Ducks don't realize what they lost in Paul Kariya. At least they would never admit it. That combined with losing Adam Oates' ability and hockey sense leave the Ducks out on the pond without a paddle. Federov is a great player and scorer, but just a slight asset. He's missing the great offense that gave him both so many scoring opportunities and scoring set-ups for conversions (goals + assists = points). Federov is one hell of a hockey player, but the Red Wing line-up made him such a threat. Ducks should have McDonald back tonight, that will help - especially if he's played on the Federov/Sykora line. That would be a quick line (but small). Regardless, that it won't help them tonight. Sens are coming off an OT loss Vs. Detroit that they should have one, and a 4-3 loss to the Kings that they should have one. They gave that games to LA on a fvcking silver platter. Sens need, more importantly want this game, knowing they play again in SanJose tomorrow night. Great situation for the Sens tonight in Anaheim. Noting the fact that having Lalime back in net and the re-signed Martin Havlat back in the line-up for this game will prove dire for the Mighty Dicks. Pardon me. I mean Ducks.
Great opportunity to get a little nest egg before weekend foots boys & girls. Don't pass it up!

honestly - i don't see how this game will be close. as IvaN has also chimed in, ottawa by at least 2 goals - if not more.

also - lalime used to play for the (not-so) mighty ducks and that also might be a little "push" to motivate him. as you point out - saturday in SJ marks 3-in-4 for the sens - and they want to make sure they get at least 2 points from this CA sked and that means MAKING SURE they get the win tonite.

Just read your POD on tonights game.Love your comment about Sens being a bigger fav vs. LA than the Ducks. Why? LA is much better than the Ducks, and Sens were sitting their goalie (tho' I don't know why - he's not injured or tired), and Havlat was not scheduled for the LA game, but expected to play in Anaheim! Go figure. Makes no sense at all.

Others might think I'm nutso, but I think you'll know what I'm talking about!
Personally, I never lay 1.5 pucks. The $'s there, but I equate it to a 3 game parley vs. a 2 gamer. With the 2 games, ya would have won, but adding the 3rd in there cost ya the whole enchilada. That SUCKS!!!! For me -.5 is the most I'll do (but that's just me).
If you have the numbers that has your wagered team winning by more that 1 goal, go for it!
Thanks for posting this guysmiley. A few posters here feel the Sens will win by at least 2, so why not get the max. out of the wagered dollar!!!
I hope Sens win by 6. (As long as they win!)

Just got back. I can't even watch the game! Ontario is SO LEAF for broadcasts. Won't broadcast another Ontario team on TV! OH NOOOO!!!!! Can't do that! Might upset the Toronto Maple Laffs! (More the ONTARIO TEACHERS FUND!!! The Dickheads)
