Cowher must have Joey T in the headset. Another classic Joey T "In the game" moment.

"I think they (the Steelers) have all their timeouts left" No Joey only 1. All those illuminated signs around the stadium that say "Time Outs Left" or "Time Outs Remaining" aren't kidding!!!

At least that's better than a forum where a poster makes his picks, ignores the losers and then wants everyone to kiss his ass when he gets one correct.

Rail,

Are you a memeber of NAMBA? I heard the LLWS is their favorite sporting event.

Shrink...just out of curiosity...You feel it can be profitable in Basketball but not football?

max don't worry about Dodobird. Anyone who calls an NFL team with the 2nd best ATS record overrated pretty much explains himself.

Sportsavant,

It can be VERY PROFITABLE in HOOPS, as I know several gamblers who make 6 figures annually middling basketball...

Interesting....Do you feel the same if it is off key #'s like 3 or 7...

Additionally can you offer any suggestions for SAFE & RELIABLE books who sometimes go out on their own in terms of posting lines...I have found it very difficult to find variances ineputable books these days...

It is hard to find much variance with a top book, thats why you have to have a few accounts with some other books that dont always get noticed, but there lies a problem you have to watch for any problems and keep your balance low

i was looking at the game from a book's standpoint.......

majority of balt action was booked at
7',8,8'

most shops took the game off the board, when the morning games started......

when the game was put back on the board at numbers ranging from 6 to 5...(a few 4')

those were the numbers that most books wrote pitt action.......

most shops were still very heavy on balt.......

game lands on 7............the books really clean up......
