Yes i went back and looked , it was the same guy i was thinking of...hard to believe that was 1983, I was a huge Steelrs fan still at the time...the Steelers had just hit the wall and their top pick died...I remembered the name I wasn't sure of the details.

BTW- I think you may be thinking of Jimmy Connors banging Chrissy

Vitas was very good friends with John Lloyd.

G. Rivera did'nt die in the accident. I still see him about 3 or 4 times a year at Spurs games.
