Well should be another exciting year for the Kentucky Derby as people will out in droves I think betting this race trying to get rich.I just had myself and a freind of mine run some programs that we use in betting the Derby and come up with 6 horses that should be on the ticket.With that here are the horses that we come up with:
#1 West Side Bernie - I know the 1 hole is the worst but this horse wont be up close at all to start but should be flying like a freight train late and dont think he will win but should be used in your exotics for Tri's and Superfectas.
#2 Musket Man - Hard not to like a horse that has won 5 of his 6 lifetime starts and loves being near the rail.I wouldnt be shocked if this horse won but dont think he will but you have to use in him in the giminics.
#6 Fresian Fire - Seems that all this horse is getting all the love now with a forecast of rain for the race on Staurday and this has has an excellent mud breeding.I know that this horse hasnt ran since March 14 but he is has his workouts and looks like to me that can win this race and will be somewhere on the ticket thats for sure.
#13 I Want Revenge - Was the early betting favorite and probably in the top three betting favorites for the race.On my programs he is the top horse but im concerned about a few things such as how hard was he used in the Wood and I know he had a bullet work since but hell he got beat by Pioneer of the Nile and Papa Clem before and I think you have to use him on the ticket but wouldnt be shocked if this horse threw a clunker here.
#15 Dunkirk - I think this horse has a world of talent and is bred for the mud and I know there is alot of history against this horse winning as he never raced as a 2 year old and what concerns me is that he hasnt had a published work at Churchill but should be in a nice stalking trip and could pull away at the end.But think you use him on the ticket.
#16 Pioneer of the Nile - I wish that Baffert would have sent this horse to run on the real stuff instead of on the Poly but another horse that should be in a nice spot and be ready to pounce at the end. I like this horse alot and will be using this horse on my tickets.
Also we use a program that is called Stragedy 15 which lets us know what horses are contenders for the Triple Crown and comes up with these numbers:
1-3-4-7-8-9-14-18-20 which tells me yet again no Triple Crown winner this year but out these I would say the #7 Papa Clem has the best chance.
