Gravy Thoughts on the Preakness Stakes

Well Im not going to go over every horse as Sekrah I think has done that in his thread and has a great writeup about the race.

Here is what I like in the Preakness;

Toss outs for me - #4 Luv Gov,#8 General Quarters,#10 Flying Private,#12 Tone it Down

Horses that can be used in the 3rd and 4th spot for the Tri's and Supers

#2 Mine that Bird,#3 Musket Man, #6 Terrain ,#7 Papa Clem,#11 Take the Points

Horses that can be either 1st or Second:

#1 Big Drama, #5 Friesen Fire, #9 Pioneer of the Nile,#13 Rachel Alexandra


So with that all out of the way something tells me that Rachel will not win today but can be second and here are my bets.

#1 Big Drama W/P
#5 Friesen Fire W/P
#9 Pioneer of the Nile W/P

#2 Mine that Bird small win bet only because that a program a friend of mine has says this horse could win the Triple Crown


Tri wheel 1,5,9/1,5,9,13/1,2,3,5,6,7,9,11,13

For the Supers use the same in the show postion for the 4th spot


BOL to everybody today betting the Preakness and off to Thistledown to place my wagers

Snookslayer Thoughts on the Preakness Stakes....

Not at all surprised Rachel Alexandra won. 11 starts: 8-2-0. But I am surprised Mine That Bird took 2nd. Just two weeks after the miracle and he's at the Preakness against the top horses, with a new jockey.?. Apparently he's really moved up in class since his pre-derby races.
