Gravy Plays for Week 3 of College Football
<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Well after the RX went down last weekend and had a bad week also going 2-4 ATS.That brings my overall record to 13-10 ATS and here is what Im playing this week.
Virginia Tech(-6)-Bought the Hook- I have to believe that Beamer had the full focus of his team this week after losing to East Carolina and seeing GT winning 2 straight games.I see Taylor having a big game at QB and seeing the Hookie Defense show up and stopping the run of the Yellow Jackets.
Michigan(-2) I seen all I had to see of Notre Dame last week struglling against San Diego State for Gods Sakes and Michigan just gets enough on offense to bet the Irish on the road.
Iowa St (+14) This is a Dog Series as Iowa Sate is 9-1 ATS in the last ten games and taking 2 TD's in this game seems like the right thing to do here.
Arizona (-10.5) This team seems to be on a roll lately and New Mexico is struggling seems like a perfect trap but Arizona lost to them last year and gets their revenge this year on the Lobos.
Fresno State(+2) This seems to be a popular pick this week but think its justified here as Pat Hill will have the troops fired up to stop P.J. Hill and then you have Allen Evridge trying to rally you back thanks but no thanks I will take the home dog with the better QB in Brandstater to knock off another BIG 10 Team (OUCH)
Here is my Ohio State take this week against USC Sat and that is I think 11.5 is way to high in this game but if Bennie Wells doesnt play this team might be in BIG trouble on Sat night as USC will pin their ears back and go after Boeckman and seems to me he folds in a real pressure situation.Prior will see time in this game but he isnt ready yet to lead this team and they need to establish a running game to really control tempo but No Beenie mean no Chance.Im passing on a side here but if you play teasers and such teaze down USC to 5.5 and you should be good here.I also like the over here as 44.5 really see like a USC 31-17 type game.Man it pains me to say this but Im not sugar coating or being a homer I see it the way I see it.
