Well my favorite time of the year is back as College Football Starts up Thursday night.I will give out my selections with some thoughts and I am no tout by any means just like doing some capping on these games and help out when I can as there are plenty of great cappers on the RX and hope that I can be as good as them.With that out of the way here is what I like this week in College Football with some Thursday games:
NC State (-5) I know the line is moving and for good reason as South Carolina has some problems as on Defense for this game.I think that the Wolfpack didnt forget about last year when they got embarresed on ESPN and think O'Brien will have them ready for this one.
Over 56 BG/Troy Game - 2 me this games looks like some offensive fireworks should happen in this game as both teams are lacking on defense this year as BG returns 3 and Troy's entire defensive backfield is in shambles right now due to injuries and academics.Both teams can score and the weather should be perfect.Also the last 4 home openers at BG have produced 59,83,88,77 points and think that the over is the better play here than a side.
N Texas (+17) I know that the Mean Green aren't the greatest football team in the world but Ball State lost alot from last year and think that this is way too many points here and think that N Texas keeps this within reason.
Tulsa (-14) My thinking is that Tulsa should be fine as HC Graham just reloads again and should still have his high powered offense clicking again this year.On the other side that Tulane is real weak on defense line and if you cannot get a rush on Tulsa you could be in for a long night in the SuperDome and think the Canes don't let up in this matchup.
Ok here are some games I like for Saturday with no writeups:
Ohio U (+4) -bought half-
Illinois (-6.5)
UAB (-5.5)
Wake Forest (-2) Think this looks fishy as Baylor is geeting alot of Love
Minnesota (-6.5) another game looks too good to be true but Syracuse is a mess
Toledo (+11) -Bought half - Purdue is way down this year and could be looking to Oregon next week
Stanford (-16.5) alot of road chalk here but the Cougars are still a mess
VT (+6.5) Dont count out Beamer here just yet and if Taylor plays like I think he can would not shock me to see them win outright here.
UTEP(-8) My favorite game of the week as Buffalo is rebuilding and major payback game for the Miners and Price from last years ass kicking by the Bulls.
Ok thats all for now as Im still looking at some matchups and line movements that will happen with Dr Bob and such.BOL to everybody this upcomming college football season and feel free to add you thoughts
