Great topic, Fish. Interesting how the yards & attempts do not count on PATs, but the POINTS sure as hell go on the board!

The book should have refunded your wager for not posting the disclaimer, IMO.

This actually happened to me in Vegas on a $500 wager.

Had the over 1.5 and Edgar Bennett rushed for one regular and one conversion.

They called it a loser.

They had no special rule posted saying conversions did not count........but on the other hand, conversion attempts do not go on stats.

I still think I had a good case.

Out of cortesy, if I were running the book, I would have refunded my money and made a point to put a disclaimer on the board for future events.

Was it Bennett or Henderson?

I personally think that would have been the best avenue to take on their part.

Like I mentioned, I took it to the gaming commission and lost my appeal, so I will live with their decision.

No crying, over and done with.

HTRC- I used Henderson in the example because he is a current player.

The actual wager involved Bennett some 7-8 years ago.

Gotcha... thanks.

I think the official stats releashed by the NFL should decide any dispute. Sort of like the SuperBowl prop this past year with the "Who Calls the First Fair Catch"

I believe the Panthers called the first one but muffed the catch so it went down as a muffed catch and not a muffed FAIR catch and the Panther bettors lost when NE called a FAIR CATCH on the next punt.

Clearly if you are watching the game you assume you have won the bet after watching a guy signal a fair catch but its how its ruled by the official stat guy that counts.

I like this topic a lot, since we also had for the superbowl props something very much like it, wether a missed 2 point conversion should count as a missed PAT.
On this case agree that the book should have a disclaimer, but even so, the official stats from the official NFL site should be the ones that count in my opinion, unless stated different by the book.
Again, as i like to do, what if i had the under 1.5 and had it graded as a looser because of the 2 point conversion?
