I'm glad I looked into this rather old thread, but I found a lot of great tips for growing good cannabis in my greenhouse in Maryland. In my opinion, the quality of cannabis seeds, as well as the variety chosen for a given climate, play a very important role. I used to have experience growing cannabis and now I want to buy some of the best strains for the local climate from this online shop https://herbiesheadshop.com/cannabis-seeds-usa/cannabis-seeds-maryland. By the way, I plan to use dried cow dung as a fertilizer and plant the seed directly in the same hole.

Sounds to hot. I have often heard on dioecious plants more nitrogen early on leads to more females but that sounds way too hot . If your mixing your own soil you want to wait a few weeks. Look up Tom hills soil recipes if your gonna mix your own his is fail proof for growing big and covering all phases of growth.

you ever messed around with colloidal silver?
I found one seed for a stain from the best grower in the area , something I can't buy..., it's germinating and if its female I'm going to try to harvest seeds for next year by spraying colloidal silver..ever done this?..I have a source for the silver already so....

Seems like it would work collecting, drying then spreading the pollen on the same flowering female ? even if it was bud with seeds in the end..I'm just about getting feminized seeds..
The process sounds interesting...but I'm still not sure it would work without another mother?

I never have prefer buying regular seed . I know crane city genetics sells it on Oregon elites website. I have had hermies before that I didn’t catch that threw pollen on females that seeded everything that have created feminized seed where I’ve grown some outdoors and had success but indoors i Don’t like taking that risk. Seems like some strains are not stress tested which can lead To problems.

I was going to separate it out on another spot on the property . think I'll still give it a shot by spraying one of the top flowers and let it do its thing...hopefully I get some seed because its bit of a sacrifice.

Keep your male in your house in a window once it sheds some pollen put in a ziploc in freezer . In September take a lunch paper bag put some pollen in it and choose a couple of bud sights tie bag over bud leave on for a day then remove. Limited seeds

Blueberries ,oak leaf greens, and hippie lettuce.
Not watering much, had an occasional curled leaves on the electric Lettuce but they straighten out after they get larger....Never had this happen...?Topped last week and had to remove a few huge fan leaves.
Ground temps too cold for much action, anything in the ground might fail if we don't get higher temps
