Got a letter from Citibank today

saying they cut my credit card line of credit from $70,000 to $7,500. Basically said I dont need 70K because I do not use it enough. Keep in mind that I never carried any credit card debt.

I have one that says I got 50K. I have wondered if I walked into the bank and ask to cash one of those checks, that I tear up each month, for the 50 large, what would happen?

well, if you need to go for any loans it's much better to have the 7500 anyway

Citibank's nervous. A 70,000. loss could mean a reduction in bonuses.

They would give you the cash as long as you had ID.
