Got a bank wire today...

...this showed up as a debit in my checking account

It was a charge right under the bank wire for 75.00

I was also charged a foreign wire fee of 15.00, which is standard.

Does anyone know what this is and does it have anything to do with the wire?

yeah they do those fees for bank wires. Standard. from a diff country always extra fees and sometimes two extra fees.

I have gotten two other wires from this book in the past 6 weeks and never a fee like this...just didn't know what it was. Thanks

The whole wire is not showing as "available" in my account. My present balance balance is about 500 more than my available balance and it looked like only about a little more than half of my wire cleared, yet it has been processed in my checking account. Is this strange? Its been two days.

that just means the feds are looking to see why your getting bank wires from overseas lol haha just joking kid i have no idea i use only locals.

Whats the difference between a wire and a ACH transfer?

I thought on wires they usually charged the sender, not the recipient. Maybe on this last wire the sender reversed the charge on you.
