i wanted to ask to ppl think flat betting is better for baseball for betting to win a certain amount ..
at the moment i chuck 50 in per game no matter if im tkain a dog or fave.
but should i be aiming to win like 50 per bet instead? what r ur opinions
IMO, you should establish your set unit amount and use that for each game. Otherwise you will usually struggle to stay profitable in baseball if you are betting more favorites than dogs. If I'm willing to wager a favorite to win a certain amount, I've taught myself to be comfortable wagering that win amount on a dog to get + money.
Over time, you likely will start gravitating toward the pick-um games and the dogs as you see that favorites don't win as often as you originally thought. I used to short-bet the dogs and I couldn't get ahead as the losing favorite's juice always ate into my small profits.
$50 bet on the +200 dog, as well as "to win 50" on the -200 favorite.
